Hull and machinery condition report

The report underwriters ask for at renewal, on a change of cover, or when a vessel passes a certain age.

Structure, machinery, electrical and fuel systems, through-hulls, steering

A condition report in the form underwriters expect

Damage assessment

Attended after an incident, where the extent and the cause both have to be established and defended.

Purpose
Establish the extent, and the likely cause, of the damage
Covers
The damaged area and everything downstream of it
You receive
An assessment of extent and cause, with a repair scope

Vessel particulars

Instruction

Send the particulars and Capt. Rahim will come back with availability and a fee for that vessel.

Fees are quoted per vessel once particulars are received. They depend on length, hull material, location and whether a haul-out is arranged.
